First: You won’t just find your tribe. It’s not sitting in Montana, Idaho or Tennessee waiting for you. 

A tribe has to be built - proven, vetted, thrown into the fire and shaped with truth and inevitable pain and resilience. A Christian tribe is going to require fallen men and women, humbling themselves in the name of God - striving to be a poor example in a dark world. 

We left the liberal west coast for the rural mountains of the Appalachians in hopes of securing a future for our children. Building a sustainable safe haven on which we could all live and die... and we had assumed we would find more like-minded folks out here than we actually did. It’s better in some ways, for land and natural resources... perhaps worse for work ethic and culture in others. We ultimately have no regrets in our chosen location accordingly, but nevertheless see this fact about human nature clearer than ever. People will die for convenience before the truth. Even sacrifice their children's well being for convenience... As such we wonder if fear and laziness are indeed the precursors to enabling more evil in this world.

You see, it doesn’t matter - liberal or conservative, libertarian, etc... 

Sheep are sheep. 🐑🐏 

Indoctrinated liberals in Seattle and San Francisco wear masks and get vaccinated because they believe the lie or hate you and your morals more than the truth.

Indoctrinated conservatives in the south wear masks and get vaccinated because they simply want to avoid the conflict and are often too lazy to question the lie (sure some believe it also). However, most don’t believe in what they do, but they do it out of absolute convenience and cowardice - jobs, social stigma, peer pressure from other lost souls.... 

In essence: there is no community of bravery waiting. You have to BE it yourself. You have to find the few that resonate with you - who will not compromise their integrity for fear or convenience.  Surround yourself with those who put God at the center of all things. 

The path of truth is a lonely one (because strait is the gate and narrow is the way..)- no matter where you are in the world. But you can do it. We were born for this challenge. He knew us before we were created in the womb. How many will rise to the occasion?
